Hi, my name is Beverly!

I’m a therapist with a passion for helping people of all backgrounds heal from their emotional wounds. Being born and raised in the beautiful city of San Francisco, I was blessed to have been exposed to a multitude of distinct cultures in the Bay Area and on the East Coast. As a child of immigrants, my own journey of reconciling with the contrasting values, opinions, and expectations that come with living with multiple cultures has allowed me to understand the struggle of feeling as if we are caught in between different worlds.

I have come to understand that the parts of ourselves that are often overlooked and pushed away can lead to confusion, pain, and ultimately—suffering.

As your therapist, my goal is to help you re-discover and make peace with these parts of yourself, so you can live a more fulfilling and authentic life.

Outside of therapy, you can find me..

  • Cuddling with my cats

  • Journaling (with my ever-growing collection of stickers and washi tape)

  • Binge-watching my favorite tv shows

  • Dancing & singing along to my fave music (R&B, K-pop, & EDM)

  • Prioritizing my own well-being (whether through my own therapy or allowing myself to sleep in)

  • Getting my sweat on at the gym and trying fun, new ways to get some movement in

  • Collecting Popmart & cute figurines

My Journey.

From my own journey, I learned the importance of accepting all parts of ourself and slowing down to tune into our bodies. This experience has informed my work as a therapist, and has given me the tools and empathy to help others pave their own paths toward self-awareness, self-acceptance, and healing.

I earned my Masters of Art in Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis on Clinical Counseling from Touro University Worldwide. I had the opportunity to work at a number of non-profit, community-based organizations where I provided support to adults, teens, and couples of diverse backgrounds and identities, including those bravely facing the challenges of domestic violence. These experiences allowed my passion for helping individuals navigate through past trauma and reclaim their identities, to blossom. Currently, I am in the process of earning my Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) certification.

Let’s Begin.
